The Sindi Rapids replaced a dam in 2020, creating areas for fish spawning and freeing the Pärnu River for fishing migration. The rapids are the only place in the Baltics with ideal conditions for whitewater rafting, kayak slalom, freestyle kayaking, and canoeing. They are also used as the start and end point for group kayak and canoe trips. 

The rapids' variable flow rate and large height difference make them special. When paddling on the rapids, wear a life jacket and helmet, and always read the safety rules before setting out. 

Viewing the turbulent water from the shore is also an exciting way to experience nature!
